Report an error

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Correction request.” Please include:

  • The story or profile URL
  • The sentence, caption, credit or image at issue
  • What you believe the correct information should be
  • An official record or other supporting source, if available

You can use the same address for privacy, image-rights, attribution or mistaken-identity concerns. Tell us how you are connected to the material so we can assess the request properly.

What happens next

We compare the published page with its source material and the evidence you send. If more context is needed, we may contact the reporter or publisher. We may also check with an agency, rights holder or the person concerned. A request does not guarantee a change, but we review every specific factual concern made in good faith.

How we show changes

If an error changes a key fact, we correct the page and add a dated note. That includes mistakes in names, dates, quotations, claims, captions or credits. The note stays with the story so readers can see what changed.

Small repairs to spelling, grammar, formatting or broken links may not need a formal note. Information that became available after publication may be marked as an update instead of a correction.

What isn’t a correction

Disagreeing with our emphasis or editorial judgment does not by itself make something factually wrong. We will still review a complaint if it shows that a conclusion relies on bad information or leaves out context needed for fairness. Requests to remove accurate reporting are handled separately.

Profiles and changing information

Stage names and affiliations can change. So can social handles and release details. Send the current official announcement when asking for an update. Changing a model profile does not automatically rewrite an older story that was accurate when published, though we may add a clarification if readers could now be misled.

Where corrections appear

Correction notes stay on the article they belong to. That puts the explanation next to the information readers are checking. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
