Urara Matsubayashi is a filmmaker whose directorial debut, Blue Imagine, was selected for the Bright Future section of the 53rd International Film Festival Rotterdam.
She wrote Sakura Polyphony and co-directs it with Princess Ampol. Created for Satte City’s fortieth municipal anniversary, the film is the fifth installment of Bokura no Recipe Zukan, a series exploring regional food and people. Its theatrical release is planned for spring 2027.
