A different setting for Iwatani
The cover places Iwatani beside a swimming pool in striped swimwear, while the accompanying editorial photograph brings her indoors, wearing a gray top against wooden furnishings. The two images give the feature both a bright outdoor setting and a closer portrait approach.
According to the announcement, Iwatani wanted the shoot to introduce her to readers unfamiliar with professional wrestling. It comes fifteen years after her 2011 debut with Stardom; she moved to Marigold in 2025.
Asakura and Izumi share the frame
Mizuki Asakura and Karen Izumi appear together across eight pages, in what the publisher describes as their first paired gravure feature. Both are Miss Magazine alumni: Asakura received the Miss Young Magazine award in 2022, while Izumi won the 2021 Grand Prix.
The announcement describes them as close friends who also spend time together away from work. Yuichi Sato’s supplied photograph puts that easy familiarity at the center, showing the pair lying side by side on a wooden floor and smiling toward the camera. This is their first paired feature, rather than either woman’s individual gravure debut.
Three more featured women
Seika Amakawa has a seven-page feature photographed by LUCKMAN. Her released photograph uses blue swimwear and strong outdoor light. In the accompanying interview, she describes approaching gravure as though she were cosplaying herself, considering her place within the finished photograph.
Kano Takahashi, the model and influencer whose television appearances include ABEMA’s Love Power Kingdom 2, appears in a shoot photographed by Takao Tounoki. The supplied portrait pairs pale blue lace lingerie with a softly blurred indoor background.
Sara Fujie makes her first FLASH appearance, photographed by Junya Ushirono. Now 20 and a university student, she reflects in the announcement on feeling less pressure than during her earlier gravure work and wanting to enjoy the present. Her released photograph places her on grass in colorful patterned swimwear.
