The setting is a studio on Tokyo’s waterfront. Across five distinct spaces, a classically decorated living room, bedroom, entrance and staircase, sun-filled loft, and nighttime bar counter, the work presents five scenes. In every scene, her expression changes while the central focus remains being Sasha. Through photographs and high-definition video of up to 8K, viewers can experience Sasha Yurikawa as she is now from both sides.

What to Look For

After the shoot, Sasha described her feeling in one word: “refreshing.” When she first heard the concept, she thought, “Maybe it will be cool, fashionable gravure.” Once filming began, she felt that the impression had not changed: “It feels more provocative than usual, cool and sexy.” Her words suggested confidence that the finished work matched her intuition.

Her favorite costume was the black swimsuit that she continued to wear after the shoot. “There are many, but this black swimsuit is still the best,” she answered without hesitation.
