Competitive-swimsuit gravure has been a recurring thread in Usako Kurusu’s work since her 2018 debut, often in projects she produces herself. Originally from Ehime, she released her first photobook, Otona no Sukumizu & Kyōei Mizugi, in 2023. Away from shoots, Kurusu competes in poker; she won the women’s event at APT Poker Classic Taipei in 2024. She entered her first body contest in 2026.
