A retro neighborhood bathhouse gives Chitose Yoshino’s Summer-Colored Way Home its starting point. The digital-only photobook moves from playful and relaxed photographs in the bathhouse to a Japanese-style room, where a yukata sequence extends the book’s nostalgic summer setting.
Yoshino described the location as central to the atmosphere of the shoot.

We created this digital photobook in an old-fashioned neighborhood bathhouse, with a world that feels somehow nostalgic and comforting. I would be happy if readers could find a gentle, peaceful moment in the book, like soaking in a bath. The summery yukata photographs also feel especially refreshing and are among my favorites.
Takeshi Okamoto photographed the release. Yoshino began gravure work in 2018 and joined the idol group Amaimono Tsumiawase in 2023; her fourth physical photobook is lotus serenity.
