Known among fans as “KohiKairi,” Narita and Okumoto have drawn attention for their close relationship. In this gravure feature, they are captured warmly close together, despite their senior-junior relationship as 18th- and 19th-generation members, as though they had been best friends for years. From the cool, beautiful looks that only this pairing could bring out to their natural expressions, the feature fully captures the appeal of both.

The interview also includes unvarnished messages that only the two can share now: their impressions of one another, the bond that has deepened through their activities, and their resolve to support AKB48 from here on. It is content that will make readers feel even more affection for their relationship.

Amazon.co.jp will also offer an item that comes with a large-format bonus bromide in an exclusive design.

Gravure the Television vol.83 goes on sale Tuesday, March 31. Runa Ichinose appears on the cover.
