Wani Books’ digital-only photobook arrives October 16, with photography by Tatsuya Oyabu and an announced price of ¥2,200.
Mariya Nagao describes her new photobook, Meroi Mariya., as a return to her roots after the punchier themes of earlier installments in Wani Books’ Mariya series. This time, she highlights sweet styling, lingerie and ribbon hair accessories alongside a more mature side of herself.

The cover pairs a close portrait of Nagao with pale floral lingerie, her arms raised above her head. Her name and the book’s title run vertically along opposite sides of the composition.
Three photographs from the book accompany the announcement. One frames Nagao in pale blue lace lingerie amid light green ruffled fabric. Another switches to warm lighting and dark carved wooden furniture, with black sheer fabric and floral embroidery creating a stronger contrast than the pastel portrait.
The landscape photograph opens up the setting: Nagao reclines on pale upholstery in white lingerie, looking back toward the camera. These three images are preview photographs from the collection, separate from the finished cover artwork.
In her supplied comment, Nagao says the carefully styled collection shows a cute side that readers may not usually associate with her. Wani Books likewise presents the installment around the combination of sweetness and maturity.
