Two covers, two album conversations

Toyama’s front cover pairs a white ruffled dress with floral hair decorations and pastel-colored panels. Inside, her feature combines newly commissioned photographs in a white dress and colorful skirts with an interview covering all 12 tracks on her fourth full album, OVER THE RAINBOW, released in October. An eight-question Q&A adds updates from her everyday life.

Ito’s back cover takes a brighter, celebratory approach: yellow floral clothing, a broad smile and colorful streamers held beside her face. Her 24-page closing feature marks ten years since her recording debut, exploring the simultaneously released original album 39rpm and her first best-of collection, swirl. The long interview focuses particularly on the new songs on 39rpm, alongside fresh portrait photography.

Mao Asaoka’s photobook and the wider lineup

The issue also introduces 22/7 member Mao Asaoka’s graduation memorial photobook, Niji no Mukou, with comments from Asaoka herself. That standalone book arrives November 24, 2026, separately from this October magazine issue. Our Niji no Mukou cover-reveal story looks at its artwork and publisher-shop package.

Other features move between recording sessions and the concert stage:

  • ASCA discusses the double-A-side single Remedy/Double Wings, whose songs serve as the opening and ending themes for Magical Explorer, alongside her stage work.
  • Soma Saito explores the production and lyrics of his fifth EP, nameless, including Killa Killa and Sakura Chill.
  • Hiromitsu Kitayama talks about BACKLASH, his first tie-in song and an opening theme for Togen Anki, as well as his anime interests.
  • MADKID discusses its thirteenth single and the group’s outlook in its twelfth year.
  • A Masayoshi Oishi concert report covers his September 22 Nippon Budokan performance, including acoustic playing, dance and guest appearances by Yoji Ikuta of PENGUIN RESEARCH, Dobutsu Biscuits × PPP and Pikachu.

Included photo cards or retailer postcards?

The bound-in Toyama and Ito photo cards are the issue’s included supplement. The four postcards shown in the accompanying gallery are separate retailer purchase bonuses:

Retailer Announced postcard

Animate Nao Toyama seated in a white ruffled dress against pastel panels
Gamers Miku Ito in yellow floral clothing, smiling with a hand beneath her chin

The publisher says the offers include online stores and end when supplies run out. They are not a four-postcard set included with every copy; check the selected retailer for current bonus availability and stock.
