An Yamamoto will mark her twentieth year with her first photobook, photographed in Okinawa by HIROKAZU. Tokyo News Service has announced a January 14, 2027 release, with the standard print edition priced at ¥3,850 including tax.

The book’s final title and cover artwork will be revealed later. For now, three advance photographs introduce a shoot that moves between outdoor sunlight and quieter indoor portraits.

A straw hat, turquoise tiles and window light

In the outdoor photograph, Yamamoto wears a broad straw hat and patterned swimwear, spreading her fingers around her eyes against a background of blurred greenery. A full-length indoor image places her barefoot before laundry machines and turquoise tiles, holding a pale blue garment while wearing white lingerie. The third photograph brings the framing closer, with floral lace and bright window light.

These are advance photographs from the project, rather than finished cover designs.

In her statement accompanying the announcement, Yamamoto describes wanting to preserve herself at twenty: familiar expressions alongside sides she has shown less often. She says the time spent approaching the camera without putting on an act became an important memory.

Yamamoto began modeling with Popteen and won the Miss Young Magazine award in Miss Magazine 2024. Her work now spans modeling, gravure and acting.

What changes in the DVD edition?

The publisher announces two print editions:

  • Standard edition — ¥3,850 including tax: the photobook without the making-of DVD.
  • Limited-cover edition with making-of DVD — ¥6,050 including tax: different cover artwork and an accompanying behind-the-scenes disc, offered through Amazon Japan and Rakuten Books.

Apart from the cover artwork and inclusion of the DVD, the book contents are the same. The announcement does not specify the disc’s runtime.

Signed copies and photographic prints are separate offers

Seven Net Shopping has an announced offer for a copy bearing Yamamoto’s handwritten signature. The publisher cautions that fulfillment may take place after release day. This offer is separate from the launch event.

Shosen offers one photographic print through Book Tower, Grande and its online shop.

These retailer offers are not a combined bonus set included with every copy. The announced conditions are dated October 26, 2026; limited-cover editions and bonus-bearing sales end when supplies run out, and reservation opening times may vary. Check the selected retailer’s current listing before ordering.

Tokyo launch event planned for January 16

A release event is planned in Tokyo on January 16, 2027, two days after the book’s on-sale date. The venue, start time and participation conditions will be announced through TOKYO NEWS magazine&mook.
