Rino Wauchi’s first calendar is built around the shift between outdoor summer light and quieter indoor settings. Gardens, terraces, a sunroom and an antique residence provide the settings for Yasutomo Sampei’s photographs, which move from swimwear to relaxed roomwear and seasonal styling.

Hagoromo will release the wall calendar on December 5, 2026. It begins in January 2027, measures 51 × 36 cm when open and runs to 28 pages.

Wauchi said working from a separate concept proposed by Sampei for each photograph made the shoot feel new to her. The wardrobe also introduced choices she does not often wear.

I tried outfits such as floral patterns that I do not usually wear, and I think I was able to express a side of myself that is different from usual. Styling such as pairing swimsuits with dresses is another highlight.

Events and retailer bonuses

Hagoromo said its Calenavi Rakuten Store would host an in-person release event with Wauchi as well as an online livestream event. The source announcement did not yet provide dates or participation details.

Calenavi also offered a signed cheki-style card with eligible orders. Twenty purchasers were to be selected to receive a card additionally personalized with their name; the stated preorder window ran from August 28 at 6 p.m. to September 18, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., or while stock lasted.

Rakuten Books and Seven Net Shopping each offered a photo print with a retailer-specific design. Their preorders opened on August 28 at 6 p.m.
