Saya Kawagoe (川越紗彩)’s All-Other-Cuts Digital Photobook Due June 15

KADOKAWA Corporation, headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, and led by President and CEO Takeshi Natsuno, will release Nantoka Narukamo, a digital photobook composed entirely of alternate cuts from former NGT48 member Saya Kawagoe’s first photobook, Nantoka Narunaru. The digital edition, which includes material in which Kawagoe took on the kind of skin-baring looks she had never shown before, will go on sale through digital retailers from Monday, June 15, 2026.

Kawagoe’s first photobook, Nantoka Narunaru, was released on her birthday, October 14, 2025, and was photographed in Bali, Indonesia. In the open atmosphere unique to a resort, she first revealed the cleft of her buttocks in heart-shaped black lingerie and also took on a back-shot pose in sheer pink lingerie. Comments such as “Ohhh” appeared on social media, and the book became a major topic of conversation.

The decision to release Nantoka Narukamo, a digital photobook made entirely of alternate cuts, came from the feeling that it would be a waste not to share more than 20,000 alternate shots with the world. Kawagoe herself selected bold cuts that were too embarrassing to include in her first photobook but that she felt “might be okay to show in digital form.”

The book includes many back shots and centers on lingerie and swimsuit cuts with minimal fabric. It also contains many cuts with more skin on display than in her first photobook, making it a substantial 81-page volume that emphasizes its gravure character.

Kawagoe also chose the cover herself. It uses a gravure pose cut of her in cool light-blue lingerie with a soft lace ribbon at the chest. The result has an atmosphere unique to the digital edition and completely different from the printed first photobook. Her natural expression, with the corners of her mouth slightly relaxed, is also striking.

As with the first photobook, the lettering for the title Nantoka Narukamo is handwritten by Kawagoe. It is also written in orange, the color of her penlight.

In the newly released cut, she appears in light-blue lingerie in a shot from directly behind. While a pose that shows the face clearly while turned completely away is considered difficult, she uses her flexibility to look back toward the camera. The book also includes the sheer pink lingerie cut that drew attention in the first photobook as “healthy yet sexy.” Lingerie that looks cute at first glance because of its bright red color is, in fact, a daring thong.

The release includes five images in total, including the “little Saaya” cut in which she wears a black camisole over black lingerie, and a yellow swimsuit cut worn when she drew her original characters “Usaaya,” “Beaaya,” and “Neeyan” on Kuta Beach.

It also includes the black lingerie look that appeared on the cover of the first photobook, as well as white bunny and light-blue bunny cuts in which Kawagoe transforms into “Usaaya.”

The final page features a comment about her feelings on releasing the alternate-cut edition, along with newly drawn illustrations of “Usaaya,” “Beaaya,” and “Neeyan,” plus the new characters “Zooyan” and “Torayan.” The volume packs in every aspect of Kawagoe’s appeal, from her sexy, mature expressions to an innocent, childlike cuteness.

Thanks to the favorable reception of my first photobook, Nantoka Narunaru, it has been decided that the digital edition Nantoka Narukamo, packed with plenty of previously unreleased alternate cuts, will be released!

It is a book filled with many of my favorite cuts that could not fit into the first photobook and many special photos that can only be seen here.

I would be happy if people who enjoyed Nantoka Narunaru, as well as those seeing it for the first time, would pick it up!

I hope that Nantoka Narukamo will also be loved by many people!

Saya Kawagoe

Born October 14, 2000, in Ibaraki Prefecture. She began activities as a second-generation member of NGT48 in 2018, appeared in the selected lineup for six consecutive singles, and graduated from NGT48 at the end of February 2024.
