Anna Yamada’s next birthday comes with a new photobook. Her third volume will be released on January 8, 2027, commemorating fifteen years since she entered entertainment in 2011.

Tokyo News Service announced the project on October 14, 2026. It follows PLANET NINE (2019) and BLUE (2021), the latter photographed when Yamada was twenty. The publisher describes the new book as her first in approximately five years.

A first look in sunlight

The single advance photograph places Yamada against a gray paneled wall, with direct sunlight illuminating her face and casting a pronounced shadow beside her. Her shoulder-length brown hair falls across part of her face, while red shoulder straps add color to the close portrait.

This is an advance photograph, rather than the book’s cover. Tokyo News Service plans to reveal more images, followed by the photographer, shoot location, final title and cover artwork.

Yamada made her acting debut in 2013. Her screen credits include Misumisou, Chiisana Koi no Uta and 17-sai no Teikoku. Since 2024, she has also played Asirpa in the live-action Golden Kamuy series.
