A New Horizon Led by Abundant Passion
SOLARIA was created with painstaking attention to every detail, on a scale reminiscent of a short film or movie. The shoot took place last September, followed by additional shooting in November in pursuit of a higher level of completion. Sumida reflects: “The whole set was filled with a strong desire to make a good work, and within that energy, I feel I was naturally able to let myself go.”
This volume captures a new side of Ayano Sumida, described as having the “most strikingly curvaceous body of the Reiwa era,” where a luxurious world quietly coexists with the radiance of her unadorned self.

Moments of Discovering a New Self
Standing 156 cm tall and known for her glamorous H-cup proportions, Sumida shows her appeal in a wide range of settings, including a sunrise by the sea, a bathroom, and a bedroom. It also includes glimpses of her natural self, such as swimming in a pool and having fun with Jenga.
Sumida is often asked to wear a cool, composed expression in her usual gravure work, but this project includes many of her natural smiles. She also took on new forms of expression, including poses with her chest lifted and upper body boldly arched back.
Sumida comments: “I realized again, ‘So this is the kind of expression I make.’ I would be happy if fans could also feel the more natural side of me.”

Mediterranean Light and Color
The location was Tateyama, Chiba Prefecture. The contrast between strong sunlight and soft shadows brings out Sumida’s curves. By the pool, reflected light from the water emphasizes the lines of her abdomen. On the terrace, sunlight deeply etches shadows around her waist. In the bedroom, she supplely arches her upper body, boldly expressing her firm body lines. On the balcony, the sensuality of her profile is captured alongside hair moving in the wind, while in the bathroom, skin enveloped in water gives off a soft sheen. Each image pursues a level of finish that carefully depicts the beauty of the body.
