Fuyuka Fujimoto’s first photobook, shot in Krabi, Thailand, will be released by KADOKAWA on May 18, with limited bonuses, hand-over events, and panel exhibitions planned.
KADOKAWA Corporation (Chiyoda, Tokyo; Director, Representative Executive Officer and CEO: Takeshi Natsuno) will release former SKE48 member Fuyuka Fujimoto’s first photobook, Mubobi na Watashi (The Unguarded Me), on Monday, May 18, 2026.
Fujimoto graduated from SKE48 in September 2025 and has since worked widely in entertainment, including baseball-related work. Although she had experience with gravure during her idol years, this is her first time taking on a bold gravure shoot.

The book presents her in a wide range of variations, from bust shots to her first back shots, with extensive skin-baring looks that showcase 27-year-old Fuyuka Fujimoto’s “unguarded body.”
The shoot took place in Krabi, Thailand, her first trip abroad. Production was carried out at a resort destination of sheer limestone cliffs and brilliant blue beaches, using an exclusive luxury hotel with access to a private beach and villas with pools.
She also shot while in the sea at Railay Beach, a secluded destination reachable only by long-tail boat. From cute images recalling her idol days to images with a distinctly more adult expression, the book contains a generous range of her appeal.
She actively took on gravure she had never experienced before, including a progression from removing clothes to lingerie, a shot of removing stockings, and hand-bra shots. The open atmosphere of Krabi brought out her bold side, making this a book where readers can encounter an “unguarded Fuyuka Fujimoto” seen for the first time.
Advance images include a back shot in a fresh floral swimsuit that was also used for the back cover, a blue swimsuit at Railay Beach, a delicate look pairing a pink floral top with white lingerie and a sheer lace skirt, and a yellow one-piece dress. Also released are a hand-bra shot in blue-and-white lingerie with breathtaking beauty and a bold back shot in a light-blue T-back while she is in the process of removing her stockings.
The book also features a rich variety of outfits, including a pink swimsuit, a bright-red one-piece dress, black-and-white polka-dot lingerie, black lingerie, white lingerie, and a bubble bath.
For the cover, Fujimoto selected a healthy-looking image that shows off her beautiful legs in white lingerie with black polka dots. Once readers turn the page, that healthy impression gives way to a series of bold lingerie and swimsuit images. Every photograph was carefully selected by Fujimoto herself.
The title Mubobi na Watashi carries her hope that readers will feel the appeal of the self who became “unguarded” after graduating from idol life. The book also includes an essay by Fujimoto, in which she writes about her current thoughts and feelings in her own unvarnished words.
Limited bonus editions with one bromide photo will be available through Amazon, Seven Net Shopping, HMV & BOOKS online, Rakuten Books, Junkudo Bookstore Nagoya, and TSUTAYA EBISUBASHI. A digital edition with a downloadable high-resolution PDF bonus containing one alternate image will also be released at the same time.
Release events have also been announced. A reservation-bonus event will take place at Junkudo Bookstore Nagoya on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Hand-over events with limited bonuses are planned at HMV & BOOKS SHIBUYA on Tuesday, May 19, and at Junkudo Bookstore Nagoya on Saturday, May 23.
In addition, photobook panel exhibitions will be held at Junkudo Bookstore Nagoya from Monday, May 18 through the close of business on Monday, June 8, and at TSUTAYA EBISUBASHI in Osaka from 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18 through the close of business on Sunday, May 31. A giveaway campaign in which entrants can win signed panels from among the displayed panels will be held at the same time.

Fuyuka Fujimoto (藤本冬香) was born April 3, 1998, in Hiroshima Prefecture. She debuted as a ninth-generation member of SKE48 on December 31, 2018, and graduated from the group on September 30, 2025, after about seven years of activity. Since graduating, she has worked as a talent based in her hometown of Hiroshima. She is a devoted Hiroshima Toyo Carp fan.
