The publisher’s October 23 announcement also confirms an electronic edition rolling out from October 30, including a BookLive-exclusive version with additional material.
One book, two very different hairstyles
Tsumugi records a change Nanase made in spring 2026, when she cut hair that had reached below her knees. Photographs taken before and after the cut appear alongside documentary images of the haircut itself.
The longer-haired sessions explore Gothic Lolita clothing, kimono, Chinese-style outfits and Y2K styling. After the haircut, the concepts range from Western boy-inspired clothing and animal-themed costumes to loungewear and softly styled dresses.
The released artwork makes those contrasts visible. Amazon’s exclusive cover places Nanase in a black lace bonnet behind a patterned cushion; InfoSquare’s version uses a window-lit portrait in a white blouse. The BookLive digital cover moves to metal stairs, with pale blue clothing, a fluffy white hat and white platform shoes.
In her comments accompanying the announcement, Nanase says the book brings together concepts she had wanted to try, spanning her longest-ever hair and the short style that followed. Seiyu Grand Prix handles editing and production.
What changes in the BookLive edition?
The BookLive-exclusive digital edition costs ¥3,960 including tax. Its announced extras are:
- An exclusive cover, without the standard cover.
- Six exclusive pages, one carrying a reproduced signature.
- A wallpaper offered through BookLive’s official LINE account after entering a password.
- A selection of books recommended by Nanase herself.
The reproduced signature is printed digital content, not a handwritten autograph. Electronic distribution begins progressively on October 30; the announcement does not specify one launch time for every store.

January signing events require a lottery application
Animate and Gamers announce signing events for January 16, 2027, in Tokyo, and January 17 in Osaka. Nanase will sign a chosen page and add the attendee’s name.
Admission is by lottery. The announced application deadline is December 13, 2026, with winner notifications expected in late December. Consult the Animate event page or Gamers event page for qualifying purchases and application instructions. An ordinary purchase does not guarantee attendance.
