On Friday, January 30, the gravure magazine Gravure Champion Vol. 11, presented by the editorial department of Weekly Shonen Champion, will go on sale.
This issue is a Sakurazaka46 special. The front and back covers feature Aiki Taniguchi and Yu Murai, the center pairing for the group’s 13th single.
The cover and opening feature spotlight Taniguchi, the center of BACKS. Alongside an extra-long opening gravure feature, the issue includes an extra-long interview in which she talks about the changes she has experienced since joining Sakurazaka46, her feelings about the other members, and BACKS LIVE!!, where she served as lead for the first time.
The back cover and closing feature spotlight Murai, who served as center for the title track. She is also featured in a long gravure spread and long interview.
With a double-sided poster of Taniguchi included, this is a major Sakurazaka46 special.
“Thank you very much for the cover shoot! I think my expressions may have become richer than when I first appeared a year and a half ago. Before joining Sakurazaka46, I was often told that it was difficult to read my expressions, but little by little I became able to show my feelings on my face, and I think I may have become able to smile well. Please take a look.”
The rest of the lineup is also exceptionally lavish. Ririka Fukui and Miu Shirahama, who are taking the gravure world by storm, appear alongside Misaki Sawa, a much-anticipated new star in the gravure world making her first appearance in Gravure Champion. Popular voice actors Seri Miyano and Mayu Sagara also appear.
Images for the chain-store bonus postcards have also been released.
Available while supplies last.
Available at select stores only.
