Gravure Champion Vol. 13 gives Mao Ioki four parts of its Nogizaka46 special: the cover, an extended opening gravure feature, a long interview and a double-sided poster. The July 31 issue is her first appearance in the magazine.
Ioki’s interview covers the ongoing Manatsu no Zenkoku Tour 2026, the point she has reached after four and a half years in Nogizaka46 and what the magazine describes as her spirit of inquiry. Her comment turns to the familiar summer details that shaped the shoot.

Thank you so much for my first cover. There was a fan during the shoot like the one at my grandmother’s house, and it made me feel nostalgic. When I was little, I used to make an “ahhh” sound in front of a fan too. I often played in the river with my older brother in summer, and I always looked forward to wearing a yukata to local festivals, like I did for this shoot.
Mirine Masuda appears on the back cover and in the closing extended gravure feature. It is her second appearance in Gravure Champion and her first back cover, following her Weekly Shonen Champion Media Award in the Nogizaka46 sixth-generation audition.
The issue also includes Aika Sawaguchi, Kano Komori and Miki Hayashi, along with voice actors Nagisa Aoyama and Mayu Sagara. Seven Net Shopping offered two Ioki postcard designs and one Masuda design while supplies lasted.
