Akita Shoten Co., Ltd. (Bunkyo, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Tokuji Yamaguchi) announces that Mirine Masuda of Nogizaka46 will appear on the cover and in the lead gravure feature of No. 20 of its weekly shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Champion (Editor-in-Chief: Hideo Matsuyama), on sale Thursday, April 16. The issue will also include a double-sided BIG poster and a giveaway of limited-edition QUO cards for 200 winners.
Weekly Shonen Champion will hold a two-issue consecutive Nogizaka46 festival beginning with No. 20, on sale Thursday, April 16. In the first installment, Mirine Masuda, who won the Weekly Shonen Champion Media Award in the sixth-generation audition, makes her third appearance in the magazine following a strong response. She appears in dazzling school-uniform looks and energetically cleans a pool in preparation for summer.
