Thank you for my first cover. There was a fan at the shoot like one my grandmother actually had at home, so it made me feel nostalgic. When I was little, I used to play by saying “ahhh” into a fan [laughs]. In summer, I often played in the river with my brother, and I always really looked forward to putting on a yukata and going to local festivals, like I did for this shoot.
Mirine Masuda on the back cover
Mirine Masuda takes the back cover and closing gravure feature. It is her second appearance in Gravure Champion and her first time on its back cover. Masuda received the Weekly Shonen Champion Media Award during Nogizaka46’s sixth-generation audition.
The rest of the lineup includes Aika Sawaguchi, actor Kano Komori, and Miki Hayashi, along with voice actors Nagisa Aoyama and Mayu Sagara.
