The photobook was shot over four days in her hometown of Osaka and in Tokyo. In Osaka, the team visited spots around Namba Grand Kagetsu, including Tsutenkaku Tower and neon-lit streets, where the warmth of everyday life can be felt. At the maid cafe where she worked part-time as a student, she also appears in a cute maid outfit. In Tokyo, meanwhile, the book captures her candidly enjoying dates at places she had not yet visited, including Asakusa, Shin-Okubo, and Yoyogi Park.

For this work, she also takes on swimsuit and lingerie gravure for the first time. Through dietary adjustments and training beginning two months before the shoot, she shaped a more toned waistline and hip line. Along with her popular, further-polished beautiful legs, she generously shows off her sculpted physique.

Kotera herself expresses confidence in the work: “On stage, people often see me as a ‘sexy older sister,’ but I think this is a work I approached with complete seriousness, enough that I can proudly say, ‘Come and see for yourselves whether I’m really sexy even when I take my clothes off.’”

Publication Commemoration Event to Be Held, Same-Day Tickets Also Confirmed

To commemorate the publication, a handover event featuring Mari Kotera herself will be held on the following date. Advance reservations have already closed, but same-day ticket sales have been confirmed. Tickets are first come, first served, so please arrive early.
