Miruka Seto of NEO JAPONISM will release her first photobook on December 9, 2026. Akita Shoten’s as-yet-untitled book was photographed in Guam by Ryoma Kano and uses a toy-box concept: a doll that seems to move when nobody is looking.

The shoot moves between beaches, resort pools, supermarkets, laundries, a retro amusement park and red-earth scenery. Seto wore 15 looks across the project. She said the clear Guam sea was a lasting impression from the trip, and that an overall outfit was something she had hoped to wear for a photobook.
Seto, who was born on September 12 in Saitama Prefecture and is 156 cm tall, made her magazine gravure debut in Weekly Playboy in December 2024. NEO JAPONISM is scheduled to release its EP FLUX on September 26 and is touring 16 cities in 17 dates with Transition -UTSUROI-.
