The 208-page autobiography, due August 19 from Futabasha, follows her childhood, delinquency and later arrest and imprisonment in Hong Kong.
Otoha Ono’s Dokuai places an account of her past beside 32 pages of newly photographed gravure. Futabasha will release the 208-page autobiography on August 19, 2026.
The gravure section includes Ono’s trademark oiran styling, lingerie photographs and her first rope-bondage shoot, pairing the rope with her tattoos. The publisher also highlights photographs in the underboob style associated with her appearance on the reality series Love Joto.

According to the publisher’s synopsis, Ono was an honors student through junior high school and entered a college-preparatory high school on a scholarship. It describes growing conflict with her mother before an incident led her toward delinquency, then traces experiences involving Kabukicho, compensated dating, cosmetic surgery, and arrest and imprisonment in Hong Kong.
Should I live with guilt without ever revealing my pitch-black past to anyone, or lay it all bare before the world? Hiding it would have been easy. But I chose the latter, and that is why I am here now. I am confessing so that I can free myself from guilt.

Ono was born on August 24, 2002, in Shizuoka Prefecture. In 2025, she appeared as “Oto-san,” a vocational-school student who also worked at a cabaret club, in the first season of the Netflix-distributed romance reality show Love Joto.
