A patterned kimono and multicolored paper balloon give Saki Kurosawa’s opening portrait in Kindai Mahjong a different setting from competitive play. Takeshobo presents the cover and gravure feature as a celebration of the M.League player’s first photo essay.

The November 2026 issue was released on October 1. Kurosawa appears both on the cover and in the opening photography pages, and also contributes the separately listed column Haiomoi Emi Saki Hokore Hanafubuki. The supplied portrait credits photography to Shigeo Hase.
