An Okinawa shoot, from tropical paths to the lunch table
The advance photographs move between carefully composed portraits and everyday moments. Sakura appears beneath a broad woven hat, walks along a path enclosed by tropical greenery and stands beside weathered wooden boards in a pale floral dress. Another close-up catches her holding a spoon above a blue bowl of noodles.
Elsewhere, she laughs outdoors in a green T-shirt and pale cap, with the sea behind her. Indoor photographs include a white-T-shirt portrait on pale floor tiles and a mirror composition that brings a turquoise room into view. A towel-framed close-up shows red-and-white striped swimwear.
The publisher says the book also includes cycling and horse riding, the latter at Sakura’s request. In her accompanying comment, Sakura describes making a first photobook as a long-held ambition and says the Okinawa shoot captures both spontaneous moments outdoors and more grown-up expressions.
Sakura made her modeling debut in Popteen in 2019. According to the publisher, she worked as an exclusive model for the magazine from 2021 to 2024, alongside her social-media activities.
Tokyo and Osaka event benefits
Bookstore events are announced for Kinokuniya Shinjuku Main Store in Tokyo on November 7 and Kinokuniya Grand Front Osaka on November 8. The publisher lists four ticket tiers:
- One-book ticket: Handover of an unsigned book.
- Three-book ticket: A pre-signed book and one random trading card from five designs.
- Five-book ticket: A pre-signed book, a photograph together and two random trading cards from five designs.
- Ten-book ticket: An on-site personalized signature, smartphone photography together, TikTok filming together with a solo option, and all five trading-card designs.
These are event-ticket benefits, not extras included with every ordinary purchase. Trading-card designs differ between Tokyo and Osaka.
The Tokyo organizer’s event page specifies that three- and five-book tickets include one signed copy, with the remaining copies unsigned. Its ten-book tier includes one personalized signed copy, nine unsigned copies and two smartphone photographs. Those Tokyo-specific details should not be assumed to apply to Osaka.
