A mountain river is the starting point for Sakura Kawasaki’s cover feature in the September 2026 issue of BOMB. The Nogizaka46 member’s four looks move from the water and a nearby old house to a classroom and schoolyard.

Kawasaki begins in a blue-patterned sleeveless dress by the river, carrying a large watermelon. She then changes into a lace sleeveless top and red miniskirt. A tank-top-and-shorts sequence follows as she eats summer-vegetable curry and peels corn, before a white blouse and green skirt close the feature at school.

Her accompanying interview covers Nogizaka46’s Midsummer National Tour 2026, inspiration from other members of her generation, conflicts she experienced after graduating from university in spring, and the FOD short drama Baseball Girl Washio. A QR code in the magazine links to video from the shoot. The regular edition also includes a double-sided Kawasaki poster.

Rio Nagashima’s BOMB debut

Nogizaka46 sixth-generation member Rio Nagashima appears on the back cover in her first BOMB feature. The 19-year-old from Hokkaido is the first center of the sixth-generation song Inochi no Iro, included on the group’s 42nd single. Her shoot pairs a sleeveless dress and mirror ball with a T-shirt-and-shorts setting built around pink and orange sweets, the colors associated with her glow sticks.

Limited edition

Kokoa Kai appears on the limited-edition cover, returning to BOMB swimsuit gravure after about two years. The STU48 first-generation member recently returned from two years with Malaysia’s KLP48 and serves as the first title-track center for STU48’s 14th single. Her interview discusses that unusual path and her thoughts on becoming center. A double-sided Kai pinup is bound into the issue.

The limited-edition back cover features Miyu Wada in her first BOMB appearance since graduating from NMB48. The issue also announces a new product connected to Wada.
