Tsumugi Nanase’s first photobook follows a change that happened during its making: in spring 2026, the voice actress cut hair that had grown below her knees into a short style. According to publisher Imagica Infos, the book includes photographs from both sides of that change—and documentary images of the haircut itself.

The publisher announced the finalized title, Tsumugi, and three cover designs on October 9. The book will be released on October 30, 2026, priced at ¥3,960 including tax, with editing and production by Seiyu Grand Prix.

Two hairstyles, different approaches

The long-haired sequences explore Gothic Lolita, kimono, Chinese-style and Y2K outfits. After the haircut, the photography moves between Western boy-inspired styling, animal-inspired costumes, loungewear and softly styled dresses, the publisher says.

In her accompanying comment, Nanase thanked the people involved and explained that the book brings together concepts she had wanted to try. She highlighted the range from her longest-ever hair to the short hairstyle that followed.

Nanase is represented by Holy Peak. Her voice-acting credits include Mao Arimura in Gakuen Idolmaster and a preschool child in Uchujin MuMu.

Three covers to choose from

The regular cover uses a close portrait of Nanase with short dark hair and pale knitwear. The Info Square-exclusive artwork shows her in a white shirt beside a window, with glasses resting in the foreground. Amazon’s exclusive cover presents a black Gothic Lolita outfit and lace-trimmed bonnet, with Nanase holding a patterned cushion.

The announcement lists these retailer arrangements; prices include tax:
